Anonymous Tipping & Whistleblowing
We protect our sources. No metadata stored. No exceptions.
How to Contact Us Securely
For secure contact, we recommend using our PGP-encrypted email channel. Do not use regular unencrypted email for sensitive information — even if the content seems innocuous, metadata (sender, timing, headers) can be revealing.

What We Can Accept
We welcome tips, documents, and evidence relating to:
- Malpractice and violations of international law
- Weapons supply chains and arms transit
- Surveillance procurement and data infrastructure
- Dangerous working conditions in logistics and defence-adjacent industries
- Conflicts of interest in public institutions and procurement
Source Protection
We are committed to the absolute protection of our sources. We do not store metadata, do not log IP addresses, and will never disclose a source's identity without explicit consent. All incoming tips are reviewed by a small editorial team with strict internal access controls.
If you are sharing sensitive documents, we recommend using a device and network not associated with your identity or employer. Public library Wi-Fi, Tor Browser, or an air-gapped device are all appropriate options depending on your threat level.
Legal Protections
Belgium has enacted the EU Whistleblower Protection Directive into national law, providing legal protections for persons who report violations of EU law in professional contexts. If you believe you may face retaliation for sharing information, we strongly recommend seeking independent legal advice.
Communiqué has access to legal advisory support and can, in some cases, help connect sources with appropriate legal resources. Contact us via encrypted channel to discuss.
